Just practicing painting with SAI :)

Well... this is Juliana Martes, my empath from... nowhere, really..
She's one of my first OCs, created when I was about.. 7-8 years old.

As an empath, she is extremely sensitive to emotions felt by others. She often stays away from large crowds (or even small crowds in that matter) , as too many emotions can overwhelm her, and in extreme cases, drive her insane...

She is taken in by a special units group for a military force, along with 7 others, to conduct experiments and try to control their powers.. During these researches, Juliana's empathy starts to become more and more powerful. She discovers that being an empath can make her manipulate emotions of other people, making them more friendly, or more evil. Being an empath also means that she is a natural lie detector, and able to detect anyone who is sneaking nearby.

Julie's an introvert, having grown up so long without meeting many people. She used to go school when she was younger, but when she was 12, she suffered a bad headache at school, and went unconscious for 5 days. She also overreacts alot, displaying for more emotions than an average humans. Because when she feels another's emotions, she tends to feel the same way. Like, you feel sad, then she starts feeling sad and at the same time she feels your sadness, so it's like 2x sadness. :lol: :B

Well, what happened was that the country she lives in was invaded by terrorist forces. Her city was the one of the last ones to be captured.

She was taken in when she was 14, I guess she's around 18-19 now.

She still is, but her group is beginning to doubt the military's intentions..
